Frontier fiber and business internet quotes
Frontier sells business internet, fiber, dedicated internet access, Ethernet, SIP trunking and colocation to United States businesses. It is an access provider first, which makes it a strong circuit to put underneath somebody else's overlay.

What Frontier is
Frontier's character is straightforward. It operates its own last-mile plant, sells fiber to the premises where that plant has been rebuilt, and still carries legacy copper circuits where it has not, so the quote you get depends heavily on which of those conditions applies at your address. What it does not bring to this marketplace is a managed SD-WAN or managed security wrap, so a buyer treating it as a full-stack vendor will be disappointed while a buyer treating it as the access leg will do well. SIP trunking and colocation on the sheet mean voice transport and a modest rack footprint can ride the same relationship as the circuits.
FitWhen Frontier is the right call
- Sites inside the serving area that need a clean fiber access leg
- Buyers assembling their own overlay and shopping access purely on price
- Locations still carrying legacy copper circuits that need a migration path
- Voice transport and a small colocation footprint on one relationship
What to weigh Frontier against
Frontier goes head to head with Metronet and Uniti on fiber access, and with Spectrum, Comcast Business or Optimum Business wherever a cable footprint overlaps its territory, so make them quote the same address on the same day. Because the managed layer is not part of the Frontier sheet, plan to pair the circuit with an overlay from Bigleaf, Cato Networks or Aryaka rather than expecting it inside the quote. Buyers who would rather sign once should ask what Granite, MetTel or TPx add to hold the Frontier leg inside a wider agreement, then weigh that against carrying the vendor relationship themselves.
Before you askHave this ready when you request quotes
- Fiber availability confirmed at the exact address, not just the street
- Whether a build is required at any site and who is expected to fund it
- Your target cutover window measured against existing circuit terms
- Whether each site needs dedicated capacity or shared service is sufficient
- The overlay or firewall vendor that will sit above the Frontier circuit
Availability differs by address and by service, which is exactly what the quote process settles. Request competing quotes and see what Frontier and the other providers at your location come back with, or browse every provider we work with.
